Life Line


1966 – Born in Esher, Surrey, to a Canadian immigrant and a former professional ballerina

1973 – Family home lost to fire; fortunately, nobody hurt

1979 – Scholarship to Cranleigh School, Surrey

1985 – Exhibition to read History at Trinity College, Cambridge

1988 – Enters “the City” with Brown Shipley & Co., before joining Foreign & Colonial as a fund manager

1997 – Joins Schroders, becoming a Director two years later

2000 – First marriage, to Victoria

2004 – First child, Sophia, is born

2005 – Joins JP Morgan, moving from corporate to private client investment management

2006 – Becomes Chief Investment Officer for the Guinness family, at Iveagh Ltd

2007 – Annus Horribilis: divorce and loss of both parents, all within twelve months

2011 – Second marriage, to Jhobell

2014 – Becomes Connor Broadley’s Chief Investment Officer

2015 – Son, James, is born, a boy at last for the extended Wyllie family, after seven girls

2017 – Celebrates Connor Broadley’s 10th anniversary
